The upgrade cost of Shrimp Boat seems unbalanced. It costs more than Donut Shop and Hockey Team but doesnt't benefit from the Neswspaper Achievements as much as the "left side".
You are exactly right! So skip it for now. AdCap has a few of these "unpleasant surprises", along with lots of pleasant ones. Shrimp boats are the bane of a Capitalist's existence now!
Once lag kicks in, the jump key becomes very unresponsive. One big flaw about set items which take up less that 4 slots is that you can't equip other pieces in the empty slots and still keep the set bonus.
Game has become a pure grindfest. Bought and maxed out everything except Health at Lv 40. The frequency with which the cars appear after the 4th Barrier is freaking annoying. It's almost impossible to maintain a full team of 10 zombies for more than 100m.
Would be nice to be able to switch to another weapon while defending. I picked a catapult and its slow reloading time and projectiles are not the best choice to deal with sole runners. For those I would pick bowmen instead.
Difficulty scaling is a bit off. First couple stages are easy, then halfway through your companions die very quickly and you get swarmed from all sides. The ranged units are particularly annoying.
There are two issues with the high energy laser: 1. You can't hurt external weapon systems on bosses, only the main part. 2. Because the in-level power-up extra increases shot frequency, it doesn't seem to work with continuous stream weapons.
As with the other Notebook Wars games, it's always a game of which weapon and ship to avoid. There are simply too many fairly useless weapons and ships to choose from and getting them all is only for completionists.
Major bug: It is possible to exceed 500 stat points by maxing out the stat first and then unlocking Extra Stat points (Agi + 20 etc) in the Ability Tree. While this may seem to be a beneficial glitch, having more than 500 Agility will make your char unable to attack. So don't unlock Extra Agility in the Tree if it will push you over 500.
