I hate Foramare so very much. CPU Foramare keeps putting up heals(and almost always FULL TEAM HEALS) without seeming to take a break, and almost always seems to be part of a team that hides behind shields. X(
I see that a year and half on, the level 17 freeze bug is still there. What Silece19 failed to mention, was that it doesn't freeze after merely bumping the platform/elevator twice, but rather, if you bump(causing the red sparks) the platform/elevator twice, you might as well hit R to restart the level, because the game will freeze AFTER you put any box into its appropriate truck. There's a similar issue where if you threw the little box to the left, and missed one of the buttons(the one which doesn't seem to do anything), the game will freeze after either truck is loaded. At least in THAT case, you can avoid it by ensuring all green buttons are pressed before you load either truck. Good luck not bumping the elevator while doing so though...
I love looking for all the sci-fi/space references. I saw Experiment 626(Stitch), Wall-E, Yoda, S2E2(:P), Agent K, Martian(Mars Attacks)and a few others. XD
For all I like about this game, CPU Jyn is a broken OP POS. Always shooting from far outside the screen. I can't move my point of view beyond 1 screen from the character, yet he can shoot me from twice that range? And almost always headshot at that. He's the reason I'm still stuck with Mission 7 Insane incomplete. :(
Should get a Very Hard/Impossible for completing all challenges and campaigns on Insane. Insane especially on the first Campaign mission is damn near impossible unless your character is maxed out, I think...
Am I the only one who bothered to stop the Ice Cream truck and Routemaster at every bus stop just to see what would happen? $60 Ice Creams... I know the Routemaster only stops by occasionally, but those people seem to be stocking up for the Apocalypse!
Different strategy for beating level 12 Diamond. This assumes you have all upgrades(just grind. It's not that tedious if you keep doing whichever level you have the least trouble with over and over): Z in the middle, put all your X(beasts) near the kids. Throw on 2 Cs so each puddle gets at least one aura. Upgrade them all evenly and blockade the kids with 3(zombies). As the flyers start showing up, make use of F1(pause) to aim a 2(chain lightning) at the ones that slip past. As long as only 1 unit at a time gets to touch the fake kid(boy that sounds dirty), you should be able to fend them off. Around the mid-point, post 2 archers(S) at the southern part of the northwest point, to stem the tide. I went with mind-bending and ice to slow the game down really bad for the opposition. Anyway, that's how I beat the game. Good luck with yours!
Annoyance: If I have to spend XP unlocking a mode(eg. all splitters), I don't see why it should be locked on all maps beyond a certain range. I have neither the desire nor can I be bothered to figure out how to beat Hard/Insane on the first map, nor do I wish to play fixed path, so just give me my damned all decoys/all splitters mode on every map that I unlock! >:(
Is there some specific way you have to land? Seems to me like the only thing that DOESN'T make him go OUCH is when he lands on the left side of a slope, which is irritating as all hell when you're not maxed out on the various speed things, and kills the game extra fast. Also, there's a bug which crashes the next round if you're holding the right arrow key while clicking "Next Round". Have to restart via the pause button on the right to fix it. :(
Hot streak, then BAM, can't get past the enemies no matter how many times you refresh the page, till you finally ragequit and reroll. Only to get an even tougher family. :(
It's nearly impossible to finish Mission 8 with Perfect as Horde, when the Mage faction is throwing out those OMGWTFBBQ blasts every time my forces get close. Half the forces are dead before even engaging the enemy. AND robbing me of Ogre-killing XP. :(
