the searching is random; there's several different item layouts for each town. I'm trying to see if there's an actual pattern or if it's just random, but either way, lame.
So far, galactic noble is pretty ridiculous. Plasma rifle's stun often lets me win battles before enemies get turns. I'm not so sure the game is very balanced; I think Dragon's Den 2 is vastly superior to this game. This game is still pretty good, though.
was better than the first in concept but running weapon zombies really get annoying. Keeping your survivors alive is too much luck-based, even with good weapons. Zombies have way too much health, too; there's no reason why it should take 2-3 headshots from a .357 to kill a zombie.
This game could have been a lot better. Weapons are not that fun and the game is too simple. Not terrible, but there are games that do the same thing better.
Being matched up against a higher level isn't a big deal; it's not like you have a ton of inherent advantages from winning. I've beaten level 4s as a level 2, and lost to level 1s. Anyone can win this game, it just takes a bit of thinking to avoid obvious moves unless guessing wrong doesn't put you at a huge disadvantage.
Luck is a pretty big factor due to miss chance, critical hits, and status effect chance. A lot of the games I've lost are due to lucky crits, but I've lost and won a ton of matches due to good guesses/skills. Reading the enemy and learning his habits in the short time you have to fight is the major factor in winning. Generally speaking; if you get hit with an intercept, that wasn't luck.
Am I the only person that used the jump attack to beat everything? It's stupidly good against bosses (delay slightly, jump back then thrust). I guess it's too "tricky" to use for some people.
How do I go back to replay stages for more lives?
Oh, and the offscreen arrow thing is totally lame.
