What a relief to hear! Thank you so much for the response. I’ll admit that 4X and the like is far from the sort of game I play, but know what? I’m giving the Thea duology a shot anyway.
By the way, any chance that you’ll rework any of your browser games into commercial releases? I won’t lie, I really, really would love to see where Town of Fears’ story could’ve gone in a sequel, and how the gameplay could’ve advanced. I understand if no more browser games means no more Town of Fears as a whole, but I figured that a definitive answer might at least put my curiosity to rest, if you’re willing to go out of you way to oblige me.

As for the reboot of our flash games – that’s unlikely but thank you (and everyone else) for the interest :)

I lolwut-ed at the Arkham Asylum part. But yeah I think the game feels like it had some delving into the Cthulhu mythos every now and then, especially with those poisonous plant monsters that have tentacles for/around their mouths.

Last Flake is the best character, of course, for me ^^, with the regeneration and the skill of 7 hits it’s a bit balanced, can heal and hit a well. I used it and the librarian (First librarian) and librarian didn’t make much… Only good of it it’s healing

Thanks :) We’ve started working on a sequel, it will take a while until its ready. Not sure about translations (if we did spanish we would also have to include other languages and that’s quite a lot of work).

Thanks, it looks like we got a pretty good timing for halloween :P Can’t promise that the sequel will be done soon, we plan to add a number of cool features that will take some time to make, but the wait will be worth it ^^

Sorry to hear that but unfortunately our team is not in position to provide support for achievement system, as we have only created the game and have no control over how the achievement system records stuff. Kongregate support should be able to help you hopefully.

thanks ;) the ending is kinda open ended, when making the game we really had no idea if there will be a sequel or not, so wanted to make it flexible just in case. And I agree it would be cool to add some sort of animated outro. We’ll think about that for the sequel

Oh yeah the Kilij would probably be the best sword for him to carry because if zombies were real It’d be quite effective as having the cutting power to decapitate with one hand while having the lightness to be held in one hand too. I don’t know if I spelled it right. It’s a saber used by the Ottoman Turks during Medieval times.

The sequel should have this update in it: Have attribute points to upgrade your players health and stuff, and points for the skills. Not trying to decide if your person needs an upgraded ability, or more health, and stuff like that. Thanks for making Town of Fears!
