I've seen some good explanations of this game and i would like to add my own:
When i first realized the boy was fading while the girl stayed completely black (solid) as the boy went everywhere to give her the colors of her world, it represents how the girl takes him for granted. He is willing to do anything for her such as... bring color to her colorless world. He fades into her background, while she enjoys the color he brought her and he has no time to enjoy it, because all he wants is the girl.
Great game :D
but, i wish there was an option to have your headphones stay on.
have a boombox strapped to your skis or something so the music keeps playing no matter what.
