Haven't played it but in the comments it is written AI but AI means artificial intelligence or mechanized creature and the funny thing is machines don't think nor dream (apparently but possibly wrong) Or maybe it just passed out human intelligence.
Ok now I figured it out... as to what spineless coward said, Dave's information seems to be missing and some events he tends to be "absent". And from my other comment, the gardener guy is EVIL! He might have killed Dave before you came to the school and Dave wants you to solve this crime. And once again, bulges in the playing field might be burying grounds for the victims, which might reason out to why their eyes are black. And maybe thats why its called Wasted Youth game. + so the creator might see if I (hopefully) answered this mystery. Or you can (please don't) - this.
Ok I may have a lead on who made the children missing:
If you try talking to the janitor or gardener at the play field he will tell you:
"You kids are destroying (my) school" if you talk to him on the basketball court
And if you talk to him in the play field he'll tell you that he hates all of us.
Second, how come there are bulges or holes in field if you would be burying something with a (spade). Which that fat guy does have in the storage room. Please + if I give more questions to your mind.
