Actually, properly speaking, R/G/B are the 'true' primary colours [the additive primaries]. Red, Yellow, and Blue themselves are not a primary set at all, the subtractive primary colours are made up of cyan, magenta, and yellow [the secondary additive colours].
And FYI, I'm not just saying that out of intuition. When I first noticed it, I started making a note every attack I made that had a hit chance listed. After three hundred data points the result was almost FOUR STANDARD DEVIATIONS OUT. FOUR.
I don't think it has to represent anything. You can take it at face value, or create a metaphor of your own free will. It's a work of art, in more than that respect. 5 for 5.

I found a problem. If you jump off from the left side of the screen, going left, it's possible to miss the bottom of the stage. Instead of creating a box or line that marks the bottom, reset the character once it passes a given x relative to the green platforms (to account for the dynamic screen).
