Walkthrough to win this game easily: Buy 3 Satellite guns (Fire Gun, Fire Gun , Acid Gun) From there you buy 3 laser towers (by wave 4/5, you should have 1 Laser Tower). Protect your Lazer Tower with Barrier. Once you encircle the entire base with Lazer Tower, do research for Enforcing Armor and Increase Damage for Turrets). Then you can sit back and relax :D
The easiest way to gain highest score is to not kill the boss at the last stage, use only laser towers (the ultimate tower to kill the boss spawns) This strategy applies to those spider that spawns spiderlings :D To solve this the developer should set a limit to the amount of spawns it can create by the spider. Once it can't spawn anymore, the boss should approach closer to the base to attack with its mouth
