Apart from the obvious issues (lag, unresponsive jump button, kitties getting stuck on different levels) there are two things that really annoy me about the gameplay. The first is when an kitty enemy drops an item of clothing, and I have to watch my kitty die before it gets picked up. I think if an enemy drops an item, it should automatically be added to your inventory.
But the thing that winds me up the most is that you've added a super handy feature to skip levels, but for some reason incorporated a loss of milk for every late level you skip to. This means that while I've already defeated the third level and got all the costumes already, I have to run through it AGAIN each time because you start on the fourth level with zero milk. Come on. That's just mean...
Would also be great to have investments make you money even when the game is closed (eg Idle Mine). If I have to close the game for 6 hours while my energy refills, I would like to have something to show for it.
This could be such a great idle, if it weren't for the Energy issue. The only way I get in to idles is having them run all the time. If I have to have 6 hour breaks after a few minutes of play, I'm going to lose interest pretty fast. Could have been 4/5 but that Energy is really dragging it down...
A super fun 5 minute game. I love the shark series, and in particular the level of detail in the visuals. I do wish however, that we had an auto-chomp button so I didn't break my fingers and my keyboard. Also would absolutely love a more developed Shark game in the future where you can upgrade your sharky!
It took me an embarrassingly long time to work out that food production directly correlates to population growth. I'd make such a bad all-powerful being....
Another issue is that it's too hard to get a 'near miss' on the missiles, considering that the controls aren't that fine. The area around the missiles that counts as a near miss should be larger - I've died too many times trying to get impossibly close to one.
Gorgeous game - the only tweaks I'd make are that you can adjust the angle of the cannon, and the spikes didn't have such a picky hit box. Quite often I'll try to land on ground close to spikes to save my jet pack, and get spiked in the process. Other than that great game, beautifully designed and I can see myself wasting too many hours on this :)
Also, a little tip for the treasure hunting challenges - it seems that the golden chest is usually hidden underneath a pile of bones, so use that to narrow down your choice of possible squares.
Great game, I can't get enough of upgrade games so I'm definitely in this for the long haul.
The one thing I would say is that everything you can upgrade is too expensive, making it feel like you're putting in a lot of effort for not that great of a pay off. It would be nice to have some varied pricing, instead of everything costing the same.
Other than that, great game!
One of the aspects of this game that I really love is the option to buy upgrades that save you from traps that would otherwise stop your flight (such as the magnets). I've given up on too many other launch games after repeatedly being abducted by aliens/impaled on spikes/eaten by dinosaurs. Having said that though...those clamps are the bane of my life right now.
