Made it to wave 27. I had all the pistols fully upgraded and a few SMG's.
I starter with the kimber, and saved up for the AK47. I then bought then Grip, strap and REflex sight. Then i bought the best armor and started on buying all the pistols. Just remember to repair after each wave.
Great game, one of the ebst i've played. Loved the storyline, but the game had many flaws.
Boss fights were just a little too easy, i found the first boss harder than the last one, where i could just stand in one spot and occasionally jump when it fired at me.
Leveling also seems a little pointless, i didn't notice any change between when i started and when i finished on level 12 or 13.
Definitely needs a sequel, giving it a 4/5.
This game is hard until you get the bat. Once you catch him, your web is probably good enough to last forever.
Make sure you have 4 SEPARATE webs, so they cant all fall at once. Always keep a few bugs in each web.
Try to expand with solid golden webbing as much as possible, so you use it as effectively as you can.
You will start getting vehicles on the 5th or 6th mission. Click a squad and click buy. Bigger vehicles with better guns take longer to buy.
When the game pauses, it means one of your squads has collided with zombies. Not a bug.
Retreat stops soldiers firing, vehicles still fire. Back gives the zombies a melee bonus. Hold gives your men a gun bonus. Advance doesnt do much. Charge gives you a melee bonus.
What you should do is hold until they are at about 20 distance from you, then charge so you get the melee bonus.
Not a bad game, but there are too many battles. Even though you can flee, you can get 3+ just waking between screens.
And needs a bit mroe of a beginner friendly area, instead of just plunging you into the game and saying "Go to this city and kill 100 enemies for me"
