Got banned from the game's discord simply for daring to give negative feedback on the game in the form of comments on Kongregate. They have full rights to ban whoever they want since it is their server, but it reflects real poorly on the developer's ability to handle criticism.
Yes, when you poll people on their damage, health, etc to help you balance content, the 25% or so who have reached level 1k+ crafts definitely don't vote in those polls. I wasn't claiming that you explicitly said you balance around it, only drew a conclusion that anyone could make without questioning it too much.
They left in a really low cap to the cost of crafting since the beginning of the game (4 months ago) and then after tons of people have used and abused it to the point where new content was balanced based on those peoples' power, they removed the cap, promising that in a FUTURE update you'll be able to get to roughly level 500 crafts, where with the crafting cap, you could easily hit thousands. It is even worse because one of the crafts increases your AP gain so its a permanent boost of sorts. Cap should have been removed near the start of the game if it was to ever be removed, not AFTER many people abused it and new content was planned around that level of power.
Was just asking for help in chat and developer decided to tell someone not to help me any more because he doesn't like people who leave negative comments on games. Okay then.
Lets further clarify that new features whether aggressively monetized or not usually don't make the game slower so lava, please stop pretending making the game faster/easier/whatever instantly negates issues on new features' monetization. Limit to free gems given and the practicality of obtaining said "free gems" as a free to play are two different demons. When you add one new feature with minor buffs and then proceed to add a whole 50% increase to potential things to buy for gems, that is a rather large monetizing hike. Except for the fact that almost of the purchases are that appear to be consumable gambling of sorts, which oh boy...
I'm sorry for spending dozens of hours to make content that you can *actually* enjoy for free. Maybe next time I'll even pay you to play it, would that make it better ;) ----------------------- Edit: For those that are curious why I've responded so sarcastically, please see this guy's comment history. He is very disrespectful toward every game he plays.
1/5. Same as every other swarm game but slowed down a bunch to introduce pay to win and time gate ascensions to roughly a week or two of energy production. Or you could skip the energy production by buying gems to thaw for energy. Stop pumping out the same stuff and making it more and more pay to even "play".
Would be nice to have a confirmation for Moving someplace... Clicked it on first town accidentally while trying to read it. Now I'm back to square one with zero clue what it did other than give me 50 more fame.
People need to learn to play further into the game before saying goblin coin only have one use... Gobcoins are used for improve a talent in the 10k rag points branch. Still not terribly useful past a certain point due to the current restraint of only being able to donate 100k/click, but they have a use.
The caps on basically every upgrade in the game really kill its potential. Dark matter upgrades cap at only 10 which of those upgrades only a couple are useful, thus making dark matter quickly worthless. Expansion caps at zone 19 which means there is no pushing to be done with military, which is the only real thing resources are used for, making ascension bonus useless. Technology caps at level 10 for most making any more than ~15mil science completely worthless except for ascending requirement. The only things as far as I can tell to give you any growth in the long run would be prestige points and GR points. Except with how expansion caps at zone 19, only a couple thousand prestige is realistic to achieve.
I don't appreciate you feeling the need to respond to my comment with "I already said that" when I'm clarifying for people that half of your solution is wrong.
The game is WAYYYYYYY too linear. There aren't multiple strategies to try. the robotics tree is the perfect example of this. Constructed like a skill tree but with you having no real choice but to go down the line. The feature itself is simply adding new tiers of evolutions which is the same old stuff. You only need so much dark matter seeing as all the upgrade have a cap.
People who rates game like this as 5/5 are why the idle games on kong recently have gotten so horrible. People see "oh hey this simple game that even I could make gets 5/5? I might as well pump out a few games if this quality."
Definitely needs a buy multiple option contrary to the developer's "testing" It doesn't matter if you don't mind clicking 100+ times just to upgrade a business Jamboska, it matters what the PLAYERS think.
Guys, do not be mad at me) I've been doing this game for over 10 months. I tried to make an interesting gameplay, beautiful graphics and design, a variety of missions, mini-games company) I work alone and do not earn millions of dollars for this game) So the game can be imperfections. I hope for your kindness)
I have not "planned new content around that level of power". Please don't put words in my mouth.
