"Just hang in there my firned! It will be done loading soon! :) " ... for some reason, that seems to come up quite often in the preloader ... every 15-20% of loading progress, in fact ... ... ... >_<
the easy badge doesnt report, and is too quick to get a screenie of ... cant react fast enough to get my hand from the touchpad to the print screen key in the split second while "100%" flashes on the screen :(
awesome game, definitely a 5/5 ... loved the autoclick and infinite ammo upgrades ... only wish the shoppe had more things to buy, but ehh, don't we always? :D only mentioning since i seem to have overgrinded on animal rush #9 a little at the start to max out some of the upgrades, and by the time i'd finished all the quests, had a little over 1.4 million gold left over ... oh well ...
how come a shotgun blast to the head splatters the zombie's head like a melon, but the same shotgun at a zombie's stomach does relatively so little damage?
only complaint is that the game's a bit too big vertically to fit on my screen, even in full screen mode with all toolbars and status bars hidden ... sure, i could zoom out to 75%, but then the game becomes really small ...
currently worth only a 2/5 in my book, since the ghosts sometimes become glitched and untargettable, making the 'impossible' badge truly impossible, instead of just merely difficult ...
nice game, but way too short ... this series would've been better as a single game instead of being released chapter by chapter - feels more like a work in progress currently than a finished product ... 4/5.
i chose axeman, put 10 perk points into health to give +50%, and then the rest of my perk points plus ALL stat points into speed ... overgrinded a little on the first 2 levels, and it was really really easy after that ... dont worry about upgrading too much early on, just buy as many stones as you can ... by the last level, you'll often be picking up 50-100k+ gold per training fight.
MOUSEWHEEL?!? automatically makes this a 1/5 rating for me ... as a laptop user, iI have to ask ... what good's a game with controls i can't use to me? -_-
for the easy badge, any sensitivity will do ... for the medium badge, sensitivity 4 makes the badge a cinch ... for the hard badge, I found a sensitivity of 5.3-5.4 worked best ...
the morale of the story is: never trust a twitchy-looking scientist that turns up at your gate, especially if he refuses to share the details of his research, and supports the church of the chosen ones ...
my only complaint with this game is that the game window is a little bit too tall ... on my netbook, even in full-screen mode with the status bar removed, and at max resolution, the game doesn't quite fit ... sure, i could zoom out to 75%, but then things become hard to see on an already-small screen ...
another single player RPG with badges: GREAT! ... needs a mouse to play: not so great ... needs alternative keyboard controls for those of us with laptops ... mouse controls are horrible on a touchpad ...
Contrary to what some people have posted here, you DO NOT need to find all the PIPs to get the game completion badge, you ONLY need to finish the story ...
