This seems to be not an art game, but a rip against some of the pseudo-intellectual art games that come out infrequently. A good art game must combine good gameplay (however it is defined by each game) and more than basic, immature ideas (such as those expressed by John Lennon, R. Plant, etc in this game). Most art games have neither, similar to this game. I am a fan of the good ones, but, man, one suffers through a lot to find them. That said, if this is a negative comment on art games, it's still not as interesting as a fresh idea.
I'm surprised the rating isn't higher. This is a fun game. I can see with challenges (ex. clear game with less than x deaths) the ratings going up. 5/5. Got here from part two; hope there is a part 3.
Not bad for simple idea! Would like to see explanation of milestones and I don't enjoy the extra time viewing your logo every time I enter the main menu (opening credits and in game credits is enough). 4/5
In first flamethrower stage-at some point went left through darkness and ended up in white screen. Fell for a sec then nothing. Had to restart. Good beginning game.
271 deaths. I thought the spike distance/death ratio was OK. I had a few areas where I was walking on air and would retreat or jump to make the glitch would disappear. I think lvl 11 might be re-evaluated for its place in the difficulty ramp. Great first game. Keep it up!
4/5 due to a couple glitches. But the arrows/wasd is integral to gameplay--it'd be impossible with a switch between characters. The dual use is what makes it challenging. While not the hardest level, the last level makes great use of the arrows/wasd. Fun game!
Nice minigame! Enjoyed it. Is there a typo? I got 51 jellies, but no achievement points, but bought last jelly and got the points. So is it buy 50 or buy all? Anyway, 5/5 for being good at a simple concept.
Was actually enjoying this till glitch on lvl 18. 2/5 but will keep checking for updating and re-rate much higher if I can get to end w/o sticking. The pace is fun!
I enjoyed the two levels. Rather than paying $15, would it be ethical to have non-badge-related extras for tipping? If your game is good enough you will get a healthy conversion rate: $15 seems to be asking for no one to convert. Like 'Run' I'd play and would enjoy more but I just don't get $15 of value.
