I think you're right Filiman. I now have a crew of 3&4 star level 1's farming 1-1..2-5 for equipment with ease - but only one excellent weapon and armor piece for my lvl23 team. i loose most pvp because i'm focused on keeping food costs down.. with each level i see how much more resources are required for everything. and its runs so slow.
after 2 days i had 12 lvl 12+ heroes... and fighting cost too much food to get the loot! then i restarted, new acct. stopped campaign at 2-3. first 3 heroes at lvl 5, the rest at lvl 1. now i can farm the stones and scrolls .. and by getting stars on the lvl1 heroes will be able to farm 1-10/hard for 4 food per run soon. (was 16, now 12) .. so be careful! keep your levels down and farm stones for stars and heroes while its cheap!!
