This could be a great piece. The movement control is annoying (at least speed the character up just a little bit, especially when running), there are severe shadow glitches when walking with the candle, and sometimes the the frame just freezes. Otherwise though, the combined vibe of liminality and analog horror feels nice.
Love it when a game seems chill and easy-going at first and suddenly a few puzzles later it's like "how the hell does this work?"
Great job with the level design.
One of the absolute top games I've seen around here. Very challenging but in an extremely pleasant and captivating way, making you not angry, but more curious about how the hell is something supposed to work. Reminded me of some old puzzle/platformer games.
completed in less than half an hour.
needless to say, some of the weapons made my day. i can see myself running through infected town, smashing zombies with a guitar.
