This game sucks. The end freezes up. All the battles are luck based because the grid is too small. The battles at the end are too hard. I will admit, the graphics are pretty good, and the story isn't bad for a small game, but the gameplay mechanics are no good. This should not have badges.
good game, but there are some key points that make sure it never reaches the state of 'awesome'. first, you should be able to power up your recharge rate. even with trying to conserve energy by only delivering as much bolt as I needed to and having my tower fully upgraded, I still got overwelmed by the 20th stage. Also, it seems that you have to click in a very particular place for some opponents, such as the big tank-walker thing. Clicking anywhere but the middle will make the bolt just go right through the machine. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it's annoying. Also, a few more upgrades would be good. I finished upgrading by the 15th stage or so, and I think it would be more fun if the player was able to get more mini towers, traps or mines, etc.
Despite this, good job. A classic format, but well conceived.
I have to say, I really enjoyed this game. It's easy to maneuver and doesn't take a lot of skill. It's relaxing without being too easy or boring. And it has a nice old-school feel to it. It's a nice change of pace from other rpgs. Good work.
good graphics and gameplay. The game has an overall nice feel, but it is very annoying when one creature, especially the hunters, are able to kill one guy and then go on a big killing streak. It seems that no matter how big a force I get or how much people I put behind the front line, there will be one creature that somehow gets into my line and kills everyone, leaving me with a force of only a couple. Perhaps if each soldier had a circle around them or a wider firing range?
