I seem to have encountered another research rate cap again, and this time it is at around 420aa/s. This number does not go up when I put getter Derps into research, and it also does not go up when I hit Sugar Rush. Will raise baking rate to this similar range and see if it will also stagnate. Tried this on both chrome and FF, Windows 7 64 bit PC.
Can't seem to get research power to go higher than 47.2aa/s. Also that number does not go up temporarily and research completion time does not go down significantly when doing Sugar Rush.
The merge animation is nice but time consuming. A "merge all" button would be good. Or, I kept on switching between the cats screen and the fighting screen in order to skip the animations

Hi there. This is probably because all your research is coming from the Inspired Power - you can check the math by mousing over the research node.
