Winning things at the slot machine doesn't affect your upgrades in the slightest, instead it gives you a 'free' power-up instead. You didn't win a flow upgrade, you won it's power-up equivalent.
Great game, I really like the rogue-like aspect of it thanks to the one life philosophy. The gear is great, as I'm something of a loot-slut, so having lotsa stuff to salvage from the corpses of my enemies is a must. I like how leveling up is based around power-ups as well, albeit permanent ones. Really the only criticism I have is that it really doesn't save for me no matter what. I know you have to get to the magical room at the end of each boss fight in order to save, don't get me wrong, but despite it telling me the game saved it never really does.
All in all, 9/10 simply because of that little glitch coupled with the repetitive nature of the game. Still, something I'll be visiting often during 'coffee breaks'.
Love the game, excellent crafting system to. Lots of menu hoping, as others have said, but I don't mind that all to much. It makes me feel as if I literally made every piece needed from scratch, and that's a cool feeling. Excellent job with fixing everything that's mentioned by the community, I (and everyone else I imagine) really appreciate that. Excellent job, lots of love went into this game and it shows. 5/5

Alright, I truly like this game, it's has incredible graphics and whatnot, with fun, if relaxed and casual, gameplay. However, after having searched high and low for the final key, I swallowed all of my pride and searched up a cheat map with all key locations. Having personally visited all locations, I can almost safely say that my last key is despite me never having picked it up. Excellent game if you like this genre, it's just that, that rather saddens me.
Finally did it, I survived 823 seconds without using the 'Keep the one meteor up' exploit. As people have said, do not try to fight them and send them back, but merely make it so that they change course slightly and hit either side of your base. Attempt to keep a small amount of ammo at all times for panic rounds, or the spacebar shots. Anyways though, finally got 823 seconds, whoot whoot!

It is night time... So do I have to wait for it to be day before he comes? Sorry again, but I'm stuck on this one.

Personally I rather enjoyed having to auto reload as it stopped me from just mashing the mouse button. All in all, a great game and I can't wait for the multiplayer version; that is if its still under progress. 4.5/5
