If you get the... whatever his name was that 1 shots your party, get him in a corner on one side of a river, and use your ranged casters to kill him. It might take ages (took me 20 minutes when I got lucky), but you'll gain so much experience on your students they will instantly reach max level.
I really don't see myself playing this for 50 levels. It gets boring so very quickly.
The first few levels its like pong, after you get sticky shield it gets easier - but also boring a lot faster.
Ah well, quick and easy medal.
Quests should be made to make themselves available if you accidentally declined them earlier in the game. Currently they just.... don't show up at all, and you are basically screwed out of the current savegame. You need to abdicate and start all over again - thus losing your time and money investment in the form of coins... Hopefully something will be done about that, as it really ruins the game.
It's like a cheap rip-off of Recettear, without the ability to do the cool dungeon crawling yourself. Still, a decent game, but with a lot of flaws. It should keep you entertained for a bit though.
The 30 min wait time is too long to comfortably play the game, and too short to be casual friendly like dragon tavern. (especially since it only stores up to 7 days)
I'll just tell you, avoid joining a guild other than for point trading. Which is another oddity in itself.
As your crafters "work" they gain points which stack up to 1000. These points you can use on other players to improve some of the items they bought. Indeed not even on your own items if you have the proper crafter for it. No safety net to prevent scamming either for that matter.
Quests, If you tell the NPC who is coming to your front door, asking for 4500 gold "welcome tax" to take a hike. He won't come back, you won't get the follow up quest, and you won't get the 25.000 gold quest reward.
