some tips:
1) Skip innefficient Hunter/Advanced Hunter
2) Stop using innefficient Student as soon as you get a Scientist.
3) Get university ASAP.
4) Spend some experience with amazing Time Generators. They can seriously speedup your next worlds.
5) Don't bother using beetles and infestation until just before travelling worlds.
6) Rush for Queens at the start.
7) Even though you're mid/late game it is VERY worth Hiring Ants and queens so their bonus goes up. Same logic applies for other resources.
8) Auto generated units don't count for bonus. Only manually hired ones.
9) Upgrade Engineers slowly and uniformingly. At first jump in 0.1 increments and test if it messed up your resources. Have all machines with the same unit/s growth.
10) When travelling to another world always set Min/Max levels to the highest possible and pick the highest Experience world you can find. For me it is always: "Infested Forest of Infestation"
