@Steffe2: I'm not sure what happened on your run, but the pedestals aren't empty (did you check all 8?). There are two targets (cubes) hidden inside of the pedestals. One target is hidden on each trial, and the target texture is indicated by the texture in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. So, on each trial, there will be one target hidden in one of the 8 pedestals.
Thanks for the feedback! I mention the number of trials, but I'll add it to the in-game instructions.

Looks cool: I hit the walls a few times and had to laugh. But, it needs more instructions: am I racing against NPCs? A minimap would be helpful, and a better sense of what the goals are in the game.
I like the Tower of Hanoi puzzle, but this seems to need more to be a game: perhaps more detailed instructions, a set of high scores so you could see how well you did against others (or an idea of what the minimum number of moves required is - I didn't see that). Otherwise, the basic puzzle looks good, and is a good start.

UPDATE - 6/1/2011. Thanks for your feedback, and we've uploaded a revised version of the game, that should be about 40% less monotonous :) There are two targets now, rather than one, and if you do well on the game, you'll earn a point bonus and finish the game faster (in less than 75 trials). Let us know if you have any problems, and we'd love to get your feedback on this new version of the game.

We appreciate the feedback, and we're planning to release a new version that is more challenging (and less monotonous!).

Also, feel free to PM me, or send me a message, if you want to know more about how we're using this game. I try not to talk about our hypotheses too much on public forums, just so that people aren't influenced by what I expect to see.
Thanks for giving the game a try! In this version, there is one block that's hidden on the island, but the location is not the same for all people (there are a few random variables across people).
