I don't think the 'pin+coup de grace' combo is worth the power. If you're good equiped you can easily kill 'normal monsters' with the normal attacks of ranger+rogue and don't need power., and Boss monsters are immune to the instant-kill.
Another combo I tried is a warrior to protect the party and three rangers in the back row doing hail of arrows with accuracy+ equipment and foe-piercers. I'm mostly killing the enemies in the first round doing 3 hail of arrows and if not they're often stunned - use quick equip instead of thick armor because if you're faster than the monsters, you will kill them first round, without beeing even attacked..warrior sometimes even gets his first turn. But works only on normal campaigns, survival mode without a cleric is suicide. The power you need is restored between battles by exploring the dungeon (every new cell counts like one turn in a fight) .
the rotating field makes the game very tactical and a real strategy game. great work! but gets too easy because of the weak AI, so as turgor said a multiplayer would improve the game much.
to beat ninjas build one tower near the entrance and all the others concentrated near your gems where they are visible again. also you could do with meteors but i would prefer skilling cut down so you get pretty much money for the mana you dont need sometimes. i think skilling frenzy isnt as good becuz you can kill any enemie except ninjas without firing faster and even if you hit faster you cant hit invisibles. though i prefer crypts becuz of frighten and freeze which is a deadly combination to prevent them stealing your gems.

i would be glad to see a sequel with more levels - maybe also more upgrade/skills but they're already enough i think. :)
like all the ragdoll games the controlling is sometimes much harder than in normal games - buts thats challenging and thats why you can play this game for a long time - GREAT GAME 5/5
