The computer is not fixed. The dice rolls are not fixed. The computer does play poorly when on reckless, and sometimes it pays off for it. That said, I've tried to get 3000 for three straight games. I hit 2750 once and 2950 and then crapped out. Really frustrating, but not fixed.
Very easy. I did see one comment that I would agree with. Don't upgrade your starting mana. (Unless you want a challenge.) You start with more mana, but it slows down the mana generation at the higher levels, making the game incredibly difficult.
Okay, a couple of thoughts. 1: This is a really well done game, one of the better ones on this site. 2: The AI is not very bright. It should be able to tell when it's going to die if it doesn't block. It should be able to tell if a creature it is attacking with is just going to run into a brick wall and do nothing. Some other things, but those two bothered me the most. 3: You shouldn't be able to attack the turn you bring in a creature. (This is from a magic viewpoint, I know.) It just makes all the removal cards kind of worthless and kills any chance of really strategizing. 4: (Magic Again) You should be able to play "Instants" during your opponent's turn. This would make them actually valuable, and allow you to respond to a creature coming into play. (If you still want them to attack the turn they come in.) Good game though.
I'm confused about the sniper part. I think that if you miss hitting the zombie the first time you can't then get a head shot on them. I kept trying to shoot the same guy, but he would never go down. What's the deal?
For Serious Pseudogeek - Every game the player who didn't reach 10,000 gets an additional roll to try and beat the other player's score. It's not BS. It's the game.
To Shajby: I wasn't joking. I wish I was. I kept killing him and kept losing. I finally won this morning. Hit him with medusa and then just skulled him out. And it worked. Don't know what the difference was, but there you go. I also had a crash early on when one of the opponents tried to heal itself. It just locked up. But fortunately the autosave worked just fine.
That's the last time. I really liked this game, but I can't seem to kill him. I've hit him with skulls again, but lost. I'll check back later to see if anyone else has had this issue.
Two more times. (Three, but one I actually did lose) One time I killed him off with skulls. One time I killed him off with the Devil Laugh spell. Each time "You Lost - You were beaten to death!" I'll give it one more go.
Can someone tell me how to win level 70? I've killed him five times now, and each time I've lost.
"You were beaten to the death" is the end statement. Is this a clue and not just bad grammer?
