Level 27's name seems to be a misnomer. Conway referred to that 5-cell methelusah as an R-pentomino, not an F-pentomino, although F-pentomino is the more common nomenclature. I wish I could see the first glider ever at gen. 69.

I love this game. The learning curve is great, and each level presents its own, distinct puzzle which needs to be solved. Not too fast-paced, all you need to do is think for the solution. Brilliant, 5/5.
NOTICE: At any point in this stage, if there is an infected region with cure at 4/5, attack cure until it is no longer at 4/5. Then resume normal procedure. Plus for all of this walkthrough if it works for you!
Step 10: Infect airports until you reach the clean island. Once there, repeat Step 3, then move on to Step 11. Step 11: Decrease Infectivity to Level 0. Increase Lethality as much as possible, until everyone dies.
Step 5: Infect everyone in the region you arrived at. Step 6: Infect another region in the same hemisphere. Step 7: Repeat Steps 5-6 until all regions in a hemisphere are infected. Step 8: Infect airports until you reach the "clean" hemisphere. Step 9: Repeat steps 5-7 until that hemisphere are infected, too.
Step 1: Start in an island or restart. Step 2: Decrease Lethality to 0. Increase Infectivity and Drug Resistance to Level 3. Step 3: Spread your disease throughout your island until all are infected. Step 4: Infect airports until you arrive at a region on either hemisphere.
Good strategy. Terminology: Hemispheres refer to either the set of Canada, the US, and South America, or the set of Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Islands are Greenland and South Pacific.
