"we never were monkeys, ... we were created within days of each other." Did anybody ever stop to think that maybe some of those things were meant as metaphors? It is a book it is allowed to do that and still have valid themes. Can we all agree that you can neither PROVE that God does or does not exist (and if you did it would defeat the purpose) and leave it at that.
Why could somebody not believe in God and "The Big Bang". Is it not possible that God created the Big Bang and has been the guiding force in evolution and all that stuff. OH SNAP. Just because you don't understand Him does not mean you should reject Him.
