Pretty fun. Standard td. The cash machines are useless. Everthing else is fairly cliche. In the end, all the new towers are fairly worthless, the only thing pulling its weight are the boss towers. Maybe the florr slower things are worth it, idk.
Decent, but problems. 1. I don't have any clue what the difference between the weapons are. They all seem really similar. 2. The levels are too much back and forth. It's not interesting, it's just boring and frustrating and makes the game longer without any reason. 3. I hate jumping and not knowing whats beneath me, lower the camera on the guy so I can see what is underneath his feet. I don't care whats over his head. 4. What is the point of making us level just to finish the game? At least why such a high level. I killed every person on every level and still had to do a few repeats to reach level 6 before the game was over. It's fine if you want to force leveling for new weapons and what not, but I didn't care about new weapons because they all felt the same. Other than that I liked the game. The raging was fun, so were the powers and game play. The jumps were a bit long but nothing too bad.
Really imaginative and a lot of fun. The gameplay was great and interesting. 5/5. The badges were really easy though. The completing the game one is the most time consumning, but not bad, and pretty fun. More story and more sequel would be great. Hint: You have to kill the boss while he is in the air throwing spears.
Wow. K. This sucked.
1. More directions.
2. Don't hide them behind fancy army terms.
3. If a soldier walks under the buttons you can't grab him.
4. What the heck is a wave? This isn't in the instructions.
5. What the heck is a crate? This isn't in the instructions.
6. What the heck is the deal with airstrikes? This isn't in the instructions.
7. My last stat screen had 3 different NaN answers. You aren't even doing basic arithmetic checks?
8. What the heck do all these upgrades up and down the screen even do. Is there any organization to them?
9. There is no way to cancel an upgrade on a misclick. This especially sucks when comment 3 happens.
1 Star.
super fun. the first two badges can be knocked out on the first try if you have played the other balloon games and know what you are doing. For the boats, lay down some tacks if you are really getting desperate. I had to lay down a bunch for the first boat level.
The shop needs so much work. Selling stuff takes forever. Let us equip things in the shop. Let us sell multiple items with some sort of control click, or set up a key board short cut for it. The inventory limit is ridiculously low. The powers should be explained ahead of time. I walk into battle completely unaware of how I should attack, but it doesn't matter as at least one my charachters dies in the first wave of attack. AND WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE ENEMY REVIVING! That battle was ridiculous. I took a star off this rating just for that Gralbog guy. Furthermore getting the medium badge, took hours! The badges should better reflect the time needed to be spent to earn them.
I have a DSL connection. I set the graphics to lowest quality and turned of all effects and it still lagged worse than a CS game on a dial up connection with kids from Turkey. Blah.
I remember really liking the first version of this game. Something to improve is giving stats on the guns (damage, splash, reload, etc) so that its not a crap shoot the first time we take the gun out and have to hope it works. Also its annoying to have to wait for the reload animation to finish before changing weapons. Let us change weapons in the middle of a reload. Just reset the reload animation if you have to. It was annoying seeing survivors getting killed so quickly and easily, but that, although I didn't like it I could live with it. Other than that, still a better game than most.
Eh. The controls felt like I was moving an elephant. I'm not sure if thats the effect you wanted but it felt really unresponsive. I think its a great idea with a poor implementation.
