I think this is one of the best Tower Defense games I have ever played. I normally do not like the genre but this one, filled with a story and a basic gameplay, made it fun for me.
Sad that this is not available on Kong. I was so much hyped for the second chapter but finding out that it is only available in steam hit me hard. I had liked the first one quite a lot
I'm sorry, but flash games industry is died, and developers can't have normal income for surviving anymore. I try to set honest price on Steam: you can buy the game now only for $1.99. I think this is good price for the game with 2-4 hours gameplay.
Also had a chance to pre-order the game when we were at Indiegogo, only for $1.
And finally you had a chance to won a copy when you played previous part.
I'm sorry if I dissaponted you but flash is already past.
Actually I believe that this game is less grindy than the first game. In the first game there were annoying waves where a complete wave of cars were driving towards you which made it a bit annoying. To my surprise, this game didn't include them! It was more about skill to survive in this one. My overall rating for this is 4/5
How could this perfect game end up in the second place? I mean... Yes, I also liked "There Is No Game" but it came not any closer to the deepness and meaning of this game. Gameplay was not also more fun :S
Let me tell you what? This is a "Perfect" idea for a platform game. It is unique and also quite fun! It can be expanded to a point that would be more fun than most of the most popular Platform Games of now. I liked those clouds and all those effects. I would also add a story to the game. Maybe something meaningful and philosophical or something rather more adventurous. But this demo made me wonder what will become of this game. If you work hard enough and find some more attractive points and put them on the game, you would make something beautiful. Giving 5/5 as I want this game to be noticed and I want it to have a chance! Keep up the good work!
To the people whining about how slow gameplay is: The game is completely about how you can achieve anything with small and slow steps. The walking speed just gave the whole story and atmosphere "+" points in my opinion. It is not a game to rush, it is a game to think about. Your goal was not to find jewels your goal was to achieve your goals. With small steps.
Oh I thought there were gonna 5 more bosses to reach the Kraken after 15th and then I saw that "The hard mode is unlocked! Three more bosses!" And I was like "Umm, okay... My job is done here."
