Fun game, nice music, interesting graphics and great gameplay for me ^^ Regarding suggestions, I'd made endless mode less endless. Without being fully upgraded, I've just let myself die because it was "impossible" to die normally. If you are low on health, you just cast the healing spell and by the time you need to use it again, you are already at full mana (and that's without counting health dudes and flying lifes). Maybe some kind of difficulty progression, enemies gaining HP as soon as you progress, or more fuel consumption, more bullets, or something like that. Also, a popup telling you about the achievements you earn would be great, I didn't even know there were achievements until I finished the game. Anyway, it's a 5/5 for me ^^
I really really really don't recommend recommended controls (Follow mouse). I was having some issues with the boss and such, got tired of those "Recommended controls", and changed to Keyboard control. It's 1000 times easier with Keyboad + Mouse.
25th and 26th medals (Win X races) have wrong tooltips. The Racer, medal no. 25, is granted by winning 50 races, and The Victor, medal no. 26, by winning 100 races.
I can't get Record Destroyer achievement :( I've alreadybeaten the game and neither Endless mode nor beating the game again grants me the achievement :( And because of that I can't get the Insanity #12 achievement either :/
Remember, if there is no good combo for you, and your moves will only leave the gems better for the enemy, just don't move and wait for the time to expire; he will do those poor moves and give the big combo to you ^^
It's currently bugged and Duelist horse footstep sound keeps playing after they've disappeared from screen... so you can't really prepare yourself for the next Duelist correctly... or you mistake a Farmer with a Duelist...
Incredible original puzzle game, really well synched and it just feels great thinking whie listening to some good rhythms ^^ I only miss maybe the possibility of listening to the music that the final solution produces (at least for the levels that don't use a limited amount of balls for opening the final door).
I completely agree with top rated comments. My first 1/5 on Kongregate (if I don't like a game I just don't rate, because usually games, despite they're not my favorite, are well designed). I wouldn't have played if there wasn't a badge. This game fails in many aspects: it takes too much time to process the launches (I had to wait 5 seconds to see what happened), it sometimes fail in the process (in some misses extra bubbles had to appear but they didn't), levels are boring, there is too much luck involved (launching with no other bubbles of the same color in the border nor together, or even just one of that color remaining), you can go from almost beating the level to dying in few shots, after reading the rules and playing I don't know yet how some things work (when does the aiming dotted line appear or how "lives left" reseted), and other bugs like not loading or shooting fast and getting more than 1100 bubbles without losing... To sum up, worst game in Kongregate I've ever played.
A little more difficulty (less resources for example and harder puzzles) and maybe some score system awarding people for using less resources would be great. It's nice anyway ^^ 4/5.
So... I've beaten EVERY level with ALL coins and under time (my fingers hurt)... and then when I go back to the level screen I realize the game was set to "Practice mode"... REALLY nice...
I suggest to the developer to put "Trophy mode" by default :/
I agree with the filter effect comments. Everything else is nice, but I'm also missing some "Level select" screen or something like that. Music is awesome ^^
If you have problems achieving gold medal, remember, you can always rush (down+left/right keys); also don't care about your lifes, you can get hit once or twice (but not three times!); and of course you don't need to get all achievements in every level while being in time. It just take some practice to do a nice time. By the way, R for restarting the level.
EPIC story and the style and font (and laughs from the wizards!) of old Lucasart's graphic adventure games makes it remind me those freaking awesome times :)
OK, so just a game made to annoy. Easy till level 40 and then just annoying. If it wasn't designed like that (annoying colors + annoying sound), it'd be a 4/5, but it's a bit stupid how it's made: 1/5.
Repetitive levels over and over again: "run fast", "do some thingies with the grey blocks", "run faster", "run even faster while doing some thingies with the grey blocks" and then "run fast". Only few levels are original and creative enough to worth the pity, you can close the game after finishing them. I also miss the enemy killing incentive. 1/5.
Nice game, but I feel a bit frustrated for not being able to buy every upgrade for at least testing them after getting all achievements and Rank 11. 4/5
