Need to add a "back to menu" button. oOther than that, pretty fun. It's hard to keep track of the movement and aiming of all your particles, making it deceivingly difficult in some levels. Well done.
This game really needs customizable mechs. Like actual different parts (not just weapons) It doesn't look like it would be too hard to animate with the current art style, which I love by the way :3. Anyway, decent game, with a crap ton of potential. I'm thinking kongai-potential, with a customizable mechs. Going to have to keep a lookout for this game in the future.
I think you need to work on making a small tutorial for using the deck editor. I'm still not entirely sure how to make my cards evolve, or what upgrading them entails (do the upgrades stay after the evolution?). Also, you got a typo or a bug on some of the cards, the say "ignore attribute on below 30 cards" when it really is "30 or below".
Otherwise, the game is absolutely stunning from an aesthetic point of view, and I'd give it a 4/5 right now, 5/5 with some tweaks and more mechanics.
I sent you a PM, for some reason the reply button was not showing up for me. Hope I can get this figured out for ya. If you wanna reply on here instead of via PM, feel free.
Also, there's a glitch that freezes the game: If natalie is killed when she is a slime, there won't be a death animation. When someone revives her (with coffee) then the game freezes.
Why the hell are people getting down voted for asking for help when the game doesn't load??? Do people assume their lying? I don't get it. It's pissing me off because I am having the exact same problem (macbook pro, pressing launch but nothing happens, etc.). I think this issue needs some attention, because it is affecting multiple people. As for those experiencing it, I dug around a little, and I'm pretty sure this is due to Apple blacklisting Java for the time being. Downloading the newest version might help, but it hasn't fixed it for me. Can anybody help?
As a suggestion, I would make it just a tad bit easier to get cards, or easier to get gold, one or the other. The level of deck customization for newbies is very low. And everybody likes to experiment with decks in a card game. Even the ability to trade cards is restricted at early levels. I think you would keep a lot of new arrivals if there was some kind of reward for gaining levels (aside from one card). Like some amount of gold for instance, say 25 gold for each level up, so that by the time you reach level ten, you can afford at least a mediocre booster pack, to keep people interested and involved.
Shadow15 has the right idea sadly. But as for deck experimentation, we have just added 2 new very important features: You can now reset your account without losing your purchases at any level lower then 10 (previously, players who spent money on kreds weren't allowed to reset) and play with any of the starter decks along with the campaign decks in practice mode.
As for suggestions, I think it would be better if you could provide some tracking options. At the moment, your character goes to wherever you click, and even when you hold down the mouse, it will still divert your character around an obstacle in order reach where your mouse is pointing. I believe you should add an option for it to not do that. At the moment, if I want to run towards a wall, and stop right next to it, I need to make sure when I drag my mouse that I keep it on the same side of the wall, instead of on the other side. Instead of my character just stopping at the wall, now he goes ALL THE WAY AROUND to the other side of the wall, just because I happen to be holding my mouse down in the initial direction I wanted to go.
Looks okay so far. I've only been playing for five minutes though. The first problem though is the framerate. I'm not sure if it's a universal problem, but for me, its pretty bad. The cursor lags behind my mouse pointer by about 1.5 seconds, making it very difficult to navigate. If you want, I can provide some browser info or something.
Try to client version maybe? angry-red.com has the links. Then let us know if there are still issues. Main question when it comes to performance will be what type of computer you're on and connection speed. If you're on a laptop with integrated graphics, things might get a bit slow. It's a big game and it requires a decent amount of processor power.
LOL at the beginning of the story, made me remember "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". Hah, but honestly, if I had the recognition they had, i'd probably loot some villages too.
Oh, I died on the tutorial? Well, I wasn't that into it anyway. Honestly though, you should probably change that, it is probably really annoying for the few players that go through that.
Very good feedback on the tutorial and I agree with you completely. We'll work on it!!
