2/5. There was absolutely no difficulty to this game. Went through the whole thing without dying, and I'm fairly certain it wasn't because I'm a amazing player.
Great Fun, very fresh and addictive. 4/5, would be 5/5 with some more modes or upgrades, etc. But don't touch classic or reflex, they're perfect. just add more. The feeling I get kinda reminds me of wonderputt, not sure why :)
Also, might want to change the name to undergrowth... don't know if this was a typo or artistic license, but from a bystanders point of view, it looks like a typo
game was okay, i liked the models of the mushroom creatures. And the glow on the mushroom looked great, from the outside it seemed really cozy. But everything was much too dark. Perhaps keep the same level of darkness, but have some of the glowing things periodically/randomly light up the area around it, so that there is at least some sort of means to navigate around obstacles. Work on it some more, you have a good concept here. Nice to think there might be a unity game with a dark environment that isn't trying to scare the shit outta me.
much too short. I was enjoying this very much! The trippy vibe is extremely underused in games, and I would like to see you polish this and add more. Honestly, because of its length, it will probably be a 2 or a 3. But I'm going to give this a four because I'm hoping this is expanded upon.
Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback. I agree, trippy games are in short supply, the problem is finding an audience. I have more levels in development, the only thing that's been holding me back is the seeming lack of audience, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. With that in mind, I'll get to work on more levels, and hopefully even trippier concepts.
Wow such a good game. The graphics are great, the combat is fresh, even the idle parts (smuggling, assault, recruitment) feel involved. The interface makes so much sense, and I've never felt lost in it. Even though I'm early into it, I don't think the energy will get restrictive, and purchases with gems seem to be balanced (you can actually buy cool things with the "mega-money" yayayay ^-^). And what really surprised me was how well it all worked. Loading times are short, and I've only seen one bug. Not to mention everything is steampunk. Some things I would like to see in the future for this game; more customization, like being able to customize the look of your airship, etc. And perhaps experience for your units, with some branching skill or stat trees, something like that. 5/5, can't wait to see what this evolves into. Keep it simple and stay away from too much cash grab, and this game will become one of the greats.
thanks for the support, you are totally right :) Hopefully more people will react the same. Btw did you see the World chat, you can speak with our online community and developers there who are playing through other platforms!! Have fun Marauding!!
I like it. It's quite difficult to do, and the difficulty scaling is appropriate. I think it would have been better if you could control the angle of your wings, with like a and d or something. Simple, yet fun, and slightly infuriating. 4/5
I couldn't see anything in this game. wasn't too scary because I knew if anything did happen to jump up in front of me, I wouldn't be able to see it anyways
Personally, I love the update. Spacing out tris compels you to not just fly in a straight line until you have to inch out the way of an obstacle, it makes you have to take risk if you want a high score. Also love the new map layouts, the more obstacles, the better. I also thought the screen-shake was a nice touch as well, wasn't overdone either. I do agree though that the death animation is too long, but I think flippfly knows that now. Now all we need is some multiplayer modes and ship customization.
Glad you like the update!
About multiplayer/ship customization: Not sure if you'd heard, but we've implemented a new voting system our our website (www.flippfly.com) - if enough community members ask for something, it's likely we'll add it to the next round of voting, and let the people who've bought the full version decide what we do next. We've actually already added one form of multiplayer to the current voting round - and as of right now, it's beating out mod tools by a few votes!
The puzzles are never too difficult for me, but I don't thin thats the point. This game always has amazing music, and is absolutely gorgeous. I play it because its relaxing and I have fun. I don't care if the developer came out with waterfalls #20, I'd still play every single one.
Great game very fun, 5/5 but one thing that I would have really liked to see... some way to take your own music and make it the rhythm of the battle, like incorporating an mp3 loader into it. Much like vector stunt I love that game.
P.S. I havent beaten the game yet, so if that feature is an unlockable, then props to you and disregard this comment
