You actually CAN get the 15x Combo award with the Nanoswarm's help. Just make sure the Nanoswarm's health bar isn't showing. Stand above it and fire your Bananarang into the passageway.
I have a couple suggestions for modifications to the game: 1) Make the map accessible from your PDA, or some other button. 2) Make it so you don't spawn into a room right on top of a zombie.
This is the first game on Kongregate I find myself coming back to even after completing it. In fact, I've probably spent more time on this game than I have any other on this site :3
This isn't all that hard if you just follow the theory of Occam's Razor - the simplest solution is often the right one. Even some of the hardest-looking levels are just there to confuse you when the answer is very simple.
I got 22 minutes as well. And assassine - the "mystery thing" was sarcastically called "mysterious". If the red object opens red gates and the green one opens green gates... then what, I wonder does the blue object do? >_> It opens blue gates.
I got over 22,000,000 in Survival mode. It's really easy if you concentrate on dodging enemy fire and pretty much ignore where your bullets go. That's why I like the wingmen that shower the whole area with bullets.
Bottom line - focus on dodging, not attacking. With bosses, attack their weapons first, then the main body.
