Bug report: When you buy a troop, even though the troop menu stays where it is, the scroll bar goes to the top. Also, can we have our squad/reserve segregation back again? It was much less confusing that way.
I love that this exists. Thank you for providing the final logical step to Uplink, as well as expanding the entire world map with the innovative SATNET system.
The game is original and well thought-out but not at all challenging. I find myself stacking up on money and not ever running out, and the only missions that are hard are so in a way that you can't control i.e. the mission where you use piercing bombs to destroy barrels without damaging the building around it at all. Spawning bombs ANYWHERE is also a bit of a game breaker. It's a brilliant concept, it just feels a little... immature. Like it's a proof of concept that hasn't been turned into a full game yet.
Can we please have an ability to toggle AI to run away when their armor is punched through? It's really annoying to lose a ship because its captain has no presence of mind.
I would pay money to have that soundtrack on my iPod, even if it is just two songs. The game is well-polished and it's the first bullet hell I've enjoyed playing since, well, ever. Well done, you're a true master of your art.
I agree with the consensus - this could be tons of fun with a multiplayer element. Then again, it could be a spawn-camping mess of cheaters and tweenagers.
I don't like how the attack on your cities is always totally overwhelming. Like, I have NO CHANCE at all when they attack me. I've taken to just coming back to a city a month or two after it's taken and just sort of barely scraping out a win.
This game lags like hell - a five-second gap between me pressing a key and it doing something. Also, 20% of the game is pay-to-play which is bullshit, since this website is free-game centric and most people get their money through advertising. Try again, and this time don't make us pay for a service that only works because it's inherently free.
yeah man, we finally got our uplink 2, only took 12 years :)
