Your stats do get better over time (Achivements) and there is items from the original game! I do not see a reason for a simple stat increase as you levelup in game. This is a singleplayer game so you are the only one killing the minions and thus getting all the exp, not like the normal League of Legends there you have to get a good farm faster then others, in this you will close to always have the same level at the same wave. So just increasing your stats flat is no use. However being able to chose what to get stronger in and there getting your own playing style is important. Here I picked so you can chose items from the original game! This game do need to get harder minions at later waves so you really have to fight to survive. But its no fun to start from the beginning all the time with same stats! So over time you get achievements that each give you some kind of bonus! Making it possible to survive harder levels and getting better score! Thanks for feedback thou! =)
