lol. that may be, but "mana" as based in the original Proto-Oceanic may exist in that form because it's been derived from "storm" or "thunder" or similar elemental type. ofc, other similar words, such as "manna" existed long before that, and since that means "what is it" in a language that would predate even that (assuming truth of evolution or the accuracy of other historical texts), means your comment doesn't warrant significant pondering. unless, ofc, you're doing it just to pick on the developer (which ofc, you are). jerk move to leave New Years remarks in a video game comments section. esp when you don't leave any comments on the game itself. ftr, good game, but i miss not being able to fuse gems on the towers. could save some time and risk not dragging gems off my towers in the early stages. must've been fixed in a later game. still need to finish this baby off, dunno why i haven't yet. ah, well. the day is still young. for me that is. once more, unto the breach!

the minimalistic approach doesn't do this game any favours, though it doesn't hurt it either. the music, on the other hand, doesn't fit the game at all: i can imagine it fitting just plenty of games, but this ain't one of 'em. the game itself is boring and i can only see its mechanics getting aggravating with extended play, though i didn't play past the first few maps. personally, i think i got lucky, it was kinda easy, though i didn't want to press my luck. interesting ideas, bad execution. completely.

wait a minute. this may be a good game, but there's not a time i've played this game hasn't given me grief. and lag. and despite the fact i'm on Neo Joker, it ain't gettin' done any time soon, if ever. Medium should never be botd and Kong knows better. wtf you doing, Greg? this ain't funny. why the hell is it a medium badge anyway? it actually toes the line for hard badge. that's just damned rude.
not cute like the last one, but pretty good. still, not enough to prompt me to install Steam of my machine. iiits' eeeeevil. you know, in a "watch yo happy home" sorta way. *shudder* still, haven't you considered that all the times the lumberjack left the baby unattended gave the gnomes more than enough opportunity to steal him? i mean, the time it takes for the gnomes to get done with the ritual is probably about how long it'd realistically take Papa Jack to get through all the obstacles to get to him anyway. lol.

I like to think that the gnomes are classy in their own peculiar way - they wouldn't stoop down to outright steal the baby when the father's not watching, they didn't want to worry the father at all - if he hadn't turned back and found them out, he would've left content that the baby's safe. Also, they're not really stealing the baby, they're borrowing him in order to bless him. But they don't like dealing with humans, it's easier to devise a trick than to explain their agenda to the humans. :)

unfortunately, i can't say any game that spends over half my time navigating menus... scratch that, probably 90% of my time navigating menus, at least, ain't much fun. it just feels like more RPG Maker bloat. it's an interesting premise, and i hate to see my Academy for Friendshmadamy fail to blossom, but it just isn't good enough to keep riding this wagon.

i would say The Necronomicon and Line Game are easier, but i agree. Blue Tank is strangely the only boss with a set and strict strategy: if you don't follow it, you will get hit. on the other hand, i still had the most trouble with the... Desert Boss is it? (boss three.) not on the lower levels, but if you get into higher insane levels and it throws him at you, since it's random, the result is a string of curses at the screen (for being a "cheating bastard") followed by a prompt pause and reset: death by speedy bugs is uncool. and The Psychic (boss six) isn't much better.

god, i always loved this game. it's so adorable. though it feels something of older days, i'd say the 20' or 30's... but definitely the Roaring Era, altered history, naturally. a cute little, short adventure game that you can have a go at your own pace, since it isn't out to kill you at every other turn like King's Quest or similar.

not exactly browser friendly. but at least it doesn't take long to get the badges. honestly though, i think my idea of seasoning the cabbage soup with rat droppings would've worked just as well and taken less time.

only trolls and nubs are snubbed. otherwise, there are but a few series or games that are grandfathered from criticism, purely due their maker's influence. this is not one of them. this game is golden.

i still say it's really tedious, grindy, and kinda boring. the music is nice until it isn't very nice (i.e. menacing) anymore. never finished the game back in the day. dunno why i finished it now. still remain perplexed why the "fisherman" looks like a giant plankton. or maybe that was the part of the terribly deep hunter/hunted script. pretty silly, either way.

reminds me of Risk, really because it is. not hard, fortunately, even if i don't appreciate the randomness. personally though, i prefer Axis & Allies--actually World at War--any day. just literally have to have the day (8 hrs sleep + 16 hrs awake) and some friends to play.

absurdly overcomplicated and mind-numbingly stupid TD variation. the reason to remake a game style is to make it better than the original or offer something stunningly original to replace it. this game does neither, but is simply revolting. nice music, but that's it. what a waste.

thing is... i never could compel myself to play this through. interesting game, but no. not back then, certainly not now. what i REALLY don't understand is how this game got super badged, but Push still has nothing and never will. that makes me angry. i love that game.
