just an fyi to the creator when you finish the game for the first time you can continue your last game and beat the last wave until you have all upgrades without having to replay the whole thing. idk if this is the way it is meant to be but i thought i would mention it just in case.
Yes. Heroes need to be alive to gain exp. The trick in this case is to let them quest for a bit to level them up. Then the progression should go faster. :)
I like the idea of the game (the story basically) and for 3 days its great but its too similar to alot of other games ive played where your in a room and you click to kill continuously spawning enemies. it was good but i dont know how many times its worth replaying especially since there isnt an ending or anyway to reset the verbal warnings.
i like this game because you can use any of the weapons to beat the game and they seem pretty well balanced so that there is not one overall best weapon to use to beat the game. if there is a sequel i will definitely play it.
a little help for anyone who may be stuck on the magic army mission: pixies are resistant to magic and the enemies army is magic, and since pixies always rush to the front they will take all focus from the enemy soldiers while your army destroys them. pixies are also healers so they are pretty reliable. just watch them when fighting more physical-damage based enemies
so every time i play the last level my castle is destroyed near late mid-game (lord of hell is less than half health) but i cant see any enemies attacking my castle
