If you deactivate your glasses before you paint the painting of a woman in the mirror for the ghost, he'll still appear.
Funny game though. A bit lame that I had to run through it twice because I unintentionally screwed it up for the first ghost, but whatever.
This is definitely the worst part of the series, due to a good couple of reasons. 1. The place doesn't look cosy/cuddly. Am I inside a zerg hivemind? No thanks. 2. It is WAY too linear. I don't want to follow the exact pattern that the dev wants me to go. Freedom please. 3. There are way less upgrades, making it less fun. Yes, you find stupid shards, but I give a damn about the timer anyways. And 5 seconds? Woah! 4. The bombs are weak, at least until quite a long time out in the game. 5. This is the totally worst part of all. Reflex-nazism. You gotta jump at the exact right spot, and hold jump for the EXACT right time, or you'll fail. Oh, and this does not only happen once, it happens all the time. Also, you should be prepared to get killed instantly after you've finally managed to get past the obstacles due to having no health, except a crappy shield.
Seriously, this game is terribad. All the fun is out, and the only thing that is left is god damn annoyance.
plz fix
Beautiful drawings and nice pictures. The backtracking part was a bit too long, but it worked out nicely. The game really gave me a alice in wonderland/proffessor Layton feeling.
A professor Layton style game with this artwork would be amazing!
The end here is quite bad though, but since it's a way to sell the book I guess that's the strategy.
If you want to support the developer I'd reccomend you to play on the original site, since he gets more advertising money from that one. It's currently down due to trouble with the domain provider, but usually it is www.elementsthegame.com
Also, you'll gain access to Top50 (which is extremely useful) and there is a link to the forums there. The forums and the chat and stuff there. If you want to join the community, participate in tournaments and so on you should play through the real site.
Cheers!
The level with the blinking lights, I can't finish it. My head hurts and my eyes do as well. Comon developer, having such a level is just outright god damn annyoing and stupid.
Omfg, after playing 49 rounds on hard mode there comes a god damn stupid ninja-boss. I fire 5 fully upgraded firebolts at him, but does he die? Noo... Ofc not. Then, when his stealth expires he runs FASTER than the damned bolts on my frost-towers, so they can't hit him.
I can't even remember the last time I played a game who had such an annoying feature as stealth-bosses in it. I nearly get the feeling that the developer wanted to piss on us and made that stupid boss.
What a waste of time, jeez..
/nerdrage off
Guys! Just buy active barrier as the first item. Once you got it you can just hold down "S" and you are pretty much invincible.
Also, you should avoid putting points in the "Neo" perks, as they are shitty compared to the other perks.
As far as my experience reaches I would advice people to skill in undead skills. Demon seems nice at the start, but is useless in most positions because of its limited range. Undead on the other hand has massive range. Ergo, undead is best.
Orc towers are just bad damage wise, in comparison to the others (especially undead), and undead has about same damage output as demon I would believe, but higher range. Ergo undead is best.
Also you will need a lot of mana to take down ninjas and hard waves, plus cutting down trees, and undead gives you a lot more mana. Both demon and orc skills are pretty useless. Orc skills sucks, while some demon skills are good, but some ain't. Undead has pretty much good skills all over. Ergo undead is best.
TL;DR: Undead pwns the other "races", skill the frosty towers!
To everything who says that this game is very much the same as "post it, draw it" and other games. This is actually the "original" and has been on the internet for several years already.
As Kinglink said, it's cool that you got permission from 2Dboy, but this is still a bit weird. You have COMPLETELY ripped off World of Goo, not doing a single thing better (worse in most cases). Borrowing from other games is positive, but copying them?
Come on..
