I feel like the elephant can't shoot far enough to ever be useful at all. It's so weak, and getting close enough to actually shoot at the archers or catapults almost always results in pain and death. You can just spam squads, but if that's all this game is then where's the fun?
I want an epic war elephant that rides into battle and kicks butt. This one rides into battle and falls over dead.
@Apocryphe: The last 'skill' isn't a skill I don't think. It triggers whenever you activate any of the other skills. At least that's how I interpreted it.
I was very disappointed that Riflemen didn't upgrade to Autoriflemen and grendiers didn't upgrade to AA specialists once I unlocked those. Well, riflemen are actually still pretty useful, perhaps moreso than autorifle men due to their constant firing. But grenadiers... Ugh.
That last mission... No matter how I go about it, it always seems to screw me. Even when I get really close to winning, the enemy just happens to have a powerplay in the works that I can't defend against. Must've played it 10 times by now. I'll have to try again tomorrow. Just so frustrated right now.
Why would you 1-star an older game just because it doesn't have a mute button? Maybe you should learn how to mute the volume on your computer is sound annoys you so much. Oh, what's that? You wanted to listen to your music instead? Get an Ipod. You're ridiculous deadalucard.
"Simple. Simple. Tricky... Hmmm, well, let's see... OMFG!!!!" I only got bronzes on the first two anyway, I shouldn't have expected it to go well. These games are just really not my thing... But that difficulty curve... More like a brick wall D:
The pricing seems to be off for some of the upgrades. The game tells you the price, and that you can buy it, but then when you click it doesn't work. I could later buy the same upgrade when I got more money. I took minor interest in the issue so I made note that the 7100 (or 7400? 7something.) actually cost me roughly 10000 money for Missile Damage. Not sure if other upgrades are off too.
Whoa, just noticed the fun ripply water on the loading screen. That's fantastic, and I missed it the first few times I loaded up the game to play. This game just gets better and better every time I start playing it :D
Tutorial please. Making a rollercoaster seems to consist of randomly clicking until it works. Or at least it seems like it, because I have NO CLUE how it actually works.
Sucks that levels are so incredibly luck based. Strategy and swiftness can win the day in many cases, but it's frustrating having to restart a level over and over again because everyone decides that their first course of action should be to kill you. Still a pretty fun game.
It's slow. I feel like I've played almost this exact game (except with planes rather than airships). It needs a select all key (Perhaps if you hold down it selects all, then you release when you are over the target.)
When I read "the lives system is unforgiving" I thought I was going to have to restart for messing up one ball. Luckily you get a few extras. I think I only had to throw 1 away.
If you're on a winning streak, the AI will focus on killing you. You're not allowed to just win all the time. ;)
