Other portals' versions are locked to the latest update at the time they purchase a sitelock license since it's a one-time payment. Kongregate is the most dev friendly, as it offers ad revenue share for developers, so I'm updating the game here.
Loaded Custom Items intentionally do not save automatically, because otherwise your list would fill with everything you load (even the bad stuff.) You can choose to save all the currently loaded items via [Custom Items > Manage > Save] if you find something you want to keep.
1) Save an empty screen. 2) Favourite that save via [Content Menu > Current Save > Favourite] so it's stored locally. 3) Navigate to [Content Menu > Load Content > Favourites > Set Reset Save] and choose the save in the list. 4) Reset and it'll load your chosen save.
Please post on the Bug Reports thread on the forums with the information requested there. It's been reported a lot of times, but I haven't received enough information to narrow down the cause (I'm suspecting it's a browser issue.)
