Beat the game with 3 Shadow Killers (+30/+15/+10 atk); 1 Romeo (+10 atk) and 1 Devourer (+15 ELA/ +350 hp/ +10atk) , from left to right, on the 63 day. For all those trying to get the Juliet-S
I feel the game balance the monsters health with my health and my damage; that`s a little unfair: got a 25+ damage, buying with the money from the arenas, just to encounter monsters with the same health that I found on the previous try 10 levels deeper
Jiberish001. It`s worth if you abdicate one of yours stats. I beat the game with a Esper with no armor (first level with armor, second level I exchange armor for dex and then dex for power, got a 50/50/-14 before going to lvl 3 and easily beat all the gods with a nearly 200 dmg per hit)
Don`t know if you still are gonna work on these but here are some issues that I would really apreciate to see in a TOE 2.
1- Make the jump more like a parabola shape, it`s ease to control the character in the air and make the game more real;
2- upgrades. I can see a branch were mutantion also improve your character, them the player can choose in persistence (go without any) or perfeccionism.
3- I really liked to see the falling, really. If you choose to make a sequence and go philosofic, you could add branches that can only be reached with mutantions, with each one as a seven deadly sins (e.g. Wrath allows to kills enemies, Sloth gives more time, Gluttony gives more health, etc).
4- And, if you really give the trouble to add all these, each one sin can modify something (e.g. Lust give color, Envy lock the entrance) and for Pride, you could make a hell hard to obtain as he is falling or the Tower get demolished revealling a secret passage.
This are really good ideas. Some of them i had in mind during Ludum dare. But when i run out of time i choose to polish. I'm thinking of an upgraded version.
This game has a lot to become one of my favorites, gave 5/5 (when even the monkey couldn`t trespass I thought: "lol! Even animals can go to heaven". Loved the game, it really make me think (and kind reminded Tower of Heaven from mirosurabu) :D
For those complain on Challenge #4, make the Shield follow the Dragon, you must control the Sword .The Dragon always attack the closest but can't hit if too close so: if he is attacking Shield, approach; if he stops or changes target, go away. It's not THAT easy but not as hard as people say, you just need strategy :) (+ for other people see it)
It would be awesome be able to customize your family besides the randomize button. A little more explanation of the abilities (after you get them) would be really helpful too :)
