The Level 30 players are having all the fun because they get access to the best items thanks to the rent system. Vote up if you feel like they've ruined the game!
Haha, that's definitely true, I was just adding names to a pack of planet textures I found. It was originally called Ridgeworld, but that seemed too bland for my tastes. I'll add a couple more planet varieties in the next update though :)
Stuff for you to consider:
EASY: (probably an hour or less each)
1) Rolling physics for the camera... the game seems very unfinished when you stop on a dime after letting go of the directional buttons
2) Make it so objects collapse into black holes when Mass-to-Size ratio becomes too big
3) Ship and resource counters for all the empires.. maybe historic graphs like Age of Empires if you have the time
4) Follow mode so we can go behind ships and objects
5) New resource: Population
6) Color haloes for planets and ships, so we know who owns them
7) List of all objects in the universe
8) Easy targeting system ('+' goes to next object, '-' goes to previous object)
Great ideas, and they're pretty achievable! I've got the black hole collapsing idea worked out, just have to get home and add it :) Follow mode would be cool, and I would probably add it to the list idea (7). It could also be a button that attaches you to whatever you're looking at. And the easy target system could be added with the list as well. The graph idea is awesome, but might be beyond my skill level for now. I'll definitely keep it in mind. And make sure to check the credits after the next update :)
Sorry for the delay in responding but if you'd pm me the extra things you'd like to see in the tutorial, I'd gladly add them. I know the game like the back of my hand at this point, so it's hard to know what people need help with. As always, I'd gladly add you to the fan section in response to your feedback helping the game. Once again though, thanks for playing, it's you guys that really make this game what it is!
People! Attacking the enemy doesn't make us win, RESEARCHING DOES! We should be competing in getting to the top 3 research spots, not in trying to kill enemy researchers!
this build is the best for research: 4 launchpads (at least lv4), 9 cities (lvl9). Even if they level your stage and you have 0 coin, it takes 81 turns to repair cities and 112 turns to produce enough coin to completely repair my four lvl4 launchpads. I have 107 turns left to research at lvl16 = 1712 GUARANTEED research points in worst case scenarios. (I average around 6000 per 300 turns)
Your girlfriend is good for nothing, only dates you because you have bling, and hates you unless you buy her gifts and vacations and cocktails... your boss is a prick who doesn't pay you enough to buy an energy drink... your colleagues are slackers who can't aim straight, and so you have to do all the real work... your fans expect you to score a goal every time, even though you're 50 yards away and the net is swarming with opponents... and the economy sucks so bad that a pair of shoes costs more than an apartment...
