The game froze in the middle of a standoff. Had I been able to finish the game, win or lose, I could have made major progress on three of the badges. This was very inconvenient.
There's a bug if you score in around 1800. The comments in the score screen loop through all possibilities. I've tried this three times with the same result.
Control drones are great diversions. They can take more damage than a rocket can give, and they run away form the enemy. At level 30, I spread out all of my control drones and kept my cruiser drones near the base. This was suicide since control drones are needed to build more weapons, but it can last for a few levels. I started up my suicide strategy at survival level 30. It took five levels beyond that to die.
This game was really fun. I'm just disappointed that the other modes were the same levels, but with a different ball. The hard achievement is more time consuming than difficult.
