Ending 16 shows that he's not actually time traveling but using an ear piece computer to mimic the past with from memories. The devices apparently are illegal can be bought for just a few thousand dollars.

Am i missing something. On level 4 i have the light bottom left, the tea kettle above the solar panel, the puller bot on the far right lower and the power generator on the bottom. but it won't keep the target lit long enough.

i think its too picky on item placement/clicks. I spent 5 minutes clicking items forever before i could find where to place, even though i had a good idea what i need to do.
