@Seras1. Garin said that he didn't do female characters because they require different sprites for all the items. A lot of work, with nothing huge gained
the pierce skill for the ranger is kind of odd. unless he's doing the matrix lean every time he shoots, there's no way he'd be able to get an arrow through two enemiess at a completely different angle to where he's shooting.
It's an all right game, I guess. The interface is a bit cramped, and gameplay can be unintuitive or just boring. Personally, I didn't like it, but I can see why people would.
It sort of feels like it's meant to be unwinnable – if you win, there's an opium war at China's expense If you lose, there's an opium war at China's expense.
This is the first game where the minions actually seem like they should die. In the first two games we had no idea what the inhabitants had done other than be scaled/short/etc.
Guys, stop thumbing down everyone who disagrees with you, it's childish.
Anyway. Starting the game is kind of a jolt for those of us who were used to the low graphics in the previous games. The action clock is kind of weird to get used to. Personally, I prefer the old system with quickness being a flat indicator of who moves when.
What made the last two games good is still here. The core gameplay remains the same as before. Letting the shop be accessed at any time is awesome and helps keep people from hording everything in the dungeon until they find a portal scroll.
Love the game, looking forward to more.
It's a bit hard to figure out the basics of the game when you start out – a large-ish tutorial would be nice. Once you do get immersed, though, it's addictive. I love this game, 5/5
The legendary bait and pandora's box don't give any points. I feel like they should count as an enemy leader, given that they're the strongest enemies in the game.
However, I will be adding them to the game in an update.
