Great game so far, the visuals and audio are appropriate for the type of game that it is, story is very interesting, and the gameplay and execution is very well done. 5/5. The only issue I have is that I'm stuck at the first camera section. I've found all the hidden numbers and decoded them to form a coherent sentence, but when I try to enter it it does not work. I've tried various forms of formatting, like using dashes between the letters/words, using underscores, using all caps, and combinations of those and I'm not sure what to try now. Any tips would be appreciated.
great game, but I can't seem to load my saved file. When I try to resume the game it brings me to a screen that is just the background, absent my character.
Melee weapons should be tweaked a little. Found it difficult to hit people with them. I used the Katana for a bit, but when people looked like they were close enough to hit, the katana would pass straight through them and do no damage about 1/3 of the time. Apart from that, great game!
Great start. Excellent music, art, and voice acting. Sounds like same dude who does the voices in Evil-Dog's games. Like others have said, a bestiary would be a cool feature, but I would also like to see some defensive spells.
I wish there was a drift mechanic in this game. The controls are tight enough that if drifting were introduced, it'd be a easy learning curve and would feel badass.
I found a glitch. When I was being a sadist and decided to take out all of an opponent's limbs before working on a body. After I got his health down to zero, he got back up but then I couldn't make another move. Not sure why, lol.
The only real issue I have is the lag you get when you enter a new dungeon after beating a boss. Could you put a loading symbol there for the 3-4 seconds that that happens? It would make the experience more seamless instead of someone thinking that the game froze and refreshing their browser, lol. Also would be awesome to see a little bit of story or some clever dialogue. This game has a lot of character, it just needs a little something extra to make you more connected to the little knight dude.
Good concept and solid gameplay. The music and sound effects are also very relaxing and suits the mood of the game. I would like to have seen a level selection screen so that I could go back and play previous levels if I want. Apart, from that, great game!
Love the music. In combination with the interesting gameplay style, it's very relaxing. The physics are also superb. In the level with only 4 grains of sugar with four cups, I though it'd take me at least 10 tries, but the solid physics proved otherwise. Great game!
An amazing platformer in my opinion. great music, great level design and a wee bit of story and some humour. The levels and controls remind me of super meat boy, though it's easier to beat the levels. The medal requiring you to beat a level without dying even once adds the challenge for true gamers, which is nice. Overall, great game! I would like to see a level builder though. I'm certain there are people out there who would make awesome user levels.
I fully upgraded the trachea of the Swan, which made it easier to get swans, obviously. I also fully upgraded the song range in every species. But, when you get to a certain point in Endless City mode, your birds start dropping like flies no matter what you do. When my swans started to die, they spawn more swans and my song range almost instantly kept grabbing them, then the planes kept killing the new swans and spawning more. There was an endless cycle of swan genocide for about a full 45 seconds. It was hilarious and tragic at the same time.
This game looks and sounds great. The controls are solid, and the story is good enough to be a kid's game. Also, it's easy as hell, but that's also because it was meant for a younger audience, lol. The one flaw I noticed in this game was that you have to run while on top the horizontally moving platforms. I've always hated this in platformers because it doesn't make any sense. But apart from that, great game!
Fun, but I got really annoyed when certain enemies kept killing me in one shot. Some of them seem to be way too overpowered. So much so, that it gets to the point where I'm not losing because I need more practice, but because of sheer luck.
