cute game but the hero is a moron his holding the golf club by the wrong end...playing the game further to unlock other melee weapons but if the hero holds the sword by the sharp end and hits the enemy with the handle then he's truly retarded
Loved the game, definitely a 5/5. I see a lot of complaining about the crafting system and at times it found it pretty annoying myself, but let's look at it this way: resources are infinite, time is infinite and lives are infinite, then where is the challenge? The slow process of crafting components to components to components of an upgrade might just be it :). A back button would be nice though. Like if you are in a recipe and you miss a component you click it, go in it, craft it and then click back to get to the previous recipe.
That aside I greatly enjoyed the story...the "humanity" of that little astro-bot is unbelievable :)
Overall it was a nice experience playing this game and easy to get the badges. It was a bit annoying the first few missions when the only available "strategy" was to run circles around the enemy and try not to accidentally stop by bumping into something. After a few levels you start getting access to some tougher tanks, couple that with a build that maximizes range, and you got a tank that can destroy most things without them even being able too shoot back, and even if they do all you got to do is move a little (you don't need to doge everything just don't take to many heavy direct hits). This way the game becomes very easy only thing that can kill you is rushing in like a suicidal hero. To quote Eminem: "We don't do drive-bys, we park in front of houses and shoot" :)
I said before that this game is a cheap money garb... I would like to take that back. I'm still not a big fan of this type of games, but for what's it's worth I have found out over the past few days that this is the best game of this type I have ever played...I'm still out when I get the hard badge, but it has been a fun ride and this game has a few strong pluses: build times can be shortened a lot, action points refill decently and they are versatile(can be used both for missions and to plus resources), friend inviting is easy and can be done entirely within game(no need for you to spam your real life friends), and the card playing games are, a good way to pass time, quite fan and pretty rewarding(leveling heroes is easy if you play your cards right) and between all the paid items you can sill get a few useful items at the mall with regular credits. So Yeah this is my change of heart: I f you like this type of games this will be great for you if you don't, just go for the badges ;)
I hate this money garbing, friend inviting games, and by the looks of the comments here I'm not the only one. But I have 2 questions that puzzle me
1)if there are so many hate messages how does a game still have a 3.80 rating does this have something to do with the tutorial telling you how to rate it? or do people see nice graphics give it a 5 star get annoyed with it, leave and forget to update their rating?
2) http://developers.kongregate.com/docs/api-overview/intro
in there, there is an admin response saying "Also, 3.75 was an old figure - it's more like 3.85 now for a minimum, and usually we want more like 4.00." referring to badge awarding criteria
I don't know how much rating fluctuates over time but still maybe this shouldn't have badges let alone a time consuming hard one... but I'm still going to try and get it because I'm a badge addict :(
...maybe this is the hole reason why this kind of games keep popping out, for all we hate them we still don't ignore them enough.
sitting there slowly taking the order while something is burning on the fry station a question pops to mind: "the usual?"...yes! order taken instantly...that would be nice
this is freaking weird in all other games zombies increase in numbers exponentially in this game is exactly the opposite!!!...you take a town over your zombie population increases the humans recapture it you lose some population you recapture it you increase your population again but by a smaller number...over time you are forced to smaller population and smaller income. I've heard of defending what you have conquered but there are no defensive fights, no rolls, no nothing you just lose them and when you get them back there are never quite the same...this for me ruins a otherwise great game...the graphics are exceptionally funny and the headless zombie immune to headshots ... priceless :)
I know this sounds stupid but an increase day upgrade would be nice, the times I've been a few seconds away from completing a big bounty quest are beginning to add up and it's quite frustrating...
Not to be misogynistic or anything but have you noticed how on the defend pirate missions is always the same chick captain, same ship, always repairing it, and always breaking down again?...think this is a reference to women technical skills? :)
kind of reminds me of the lemmings series... I'm not saying it copies it or anything, quite the contrary it adds to it immensely. I couldn't care less about exploding a lemming but when playing this I feel like the bad guy for killing those cute dibbles just to serve the king...I feel like such a tool of the elitist abusing the oppressed masses...and that beautifull but sad sad music make it even worse.
Great game 5/5
cute game, nice gameplay but where it really shine is character, man you got everything: clerics, warriors, rangers, orcs, elfs and dwarfs... the classics; the suckers(seam like squid heads) that s a little out of the box right there, when I encountered darwinian I was blown away(huge darwinia fan), all the useless but fun animals are a nice addition too, but then I came across shit blob...shit blob!?! now I know you got everything in this game :)
5/5 really enjoyed the game. Considering the tools in this game and all the other games in the series the possible combinations of different balls that can be produced are... really really high and still we get only 20-30 new levels each new game. Why not consider a custom level maker and the support for sharing user made content here on kongregate for factory balls 5...who knows how many wacky ball producing ideas fans will have? I know I woulden't be the only one enjoying that.
easiest way to finish them is hit a color wall print screen paste into paint(or any other image editor), then repeat for all colors, see the whole maze then easily get out
funny thing is when you play with the entire party the game is somewhat balanced but if you put all your points in the priestess the game becomes incredibly easy: heal, smite, smite, heal...
