Kind of retarded-easy. But still a nice refined version of this kind of shooter. Now, if you could make your own bubble tanks from pieces you collect... now that would be awesome.
Needs to interpolate mouse position. Can jump mouse over a ball if fast enough. And the right side of the game is hidden by the chat window so balls are lost. Oh, and lame.
The fact that the camera follows the player on jumps makes the first board almost nauseating. Keep the camera level so I can see jumps and see the cool terrain and not barf. Otherwise very cool, if hella easy.
If you lose a tower, you lose the game because you now do way less damage. Why have three health bars? The fast armored guy was tough, but then the big gorilla guys get all the way to the wall without taking visible damage. Having guys at different speeds is pointless if the tough guy is the fast one too. you can only shot in one place here.
SO buggy. Mouse occasionally cannot go to the bottom of the screen so you can't pick up money. Grabbing someone as they come out of a trapdoor sometimes leaves them flickering on the door forever. And for monkey's sake NEVER through a rock head. Every time it hits the ground, every guy on the screen will go limp and be immune to everything. Once all the rocks settle, then everyone bolts for the exit like nothing happened.
Clicking rapidly produces an odd effect. You go way faster than you'd think you should. Conveyor belt levels are a bit frustrating, but pretty good game. Oh EXCEPT for the the fact that clicking to get through the level intro actually moves your ball. Click should be ignored until level starts.
Nice. neat twist on shooters. Once you get kinda far in, losing a gun sends you on a quick spiral to game over. If you are supposed to have 8 guns, you just can't survive at 4. You lose all your remaining lives once you fall too low. Lives should be separate from shots.
The skill tree in campaign mode raise this from a 2 to a 3, but it can't be higher with the ridiculous idea to have enemies heal from certain color shots and have no way to either know ahead of time or turn off those towers.
