I really like the visuals, but I feel like there is a good amount of room for improvement. I think the interface in the upgrade menu is a little unintuitive. Some of the menus and maps look a little chunky, kinda like those fat crayons for toddlers. I am guessing you went with the theme to support the feel of the game. I think you guys are on the right track. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
I am still unable to see my allies. They come help with my island, but I don't see them in the bottom windows or in the allies list. I will never be able to do the achievements for allies until it gets fixed or there is a work around.
I am not sure if this has been addressed or not, but I fail to see how upgrading a barricade will provide security. If all the security pieces force you to leave a one tile space, what is the point of gates and barbwire? The zombies just walk around it through the gaps. It just seems like a waste of resources to HAVE to upgrade these items, when they do very very little to help. Let me throw down 6 wire traps instead of 4 if you have no intention of fixing this.
Not a bad game. The one knock I have on it is the grind for money. The upgrades are seemingly impossible to get due to slow gains on money. Some of the upgrades do little for what you would expect for your money.
Plain and simple. I give you some props for being able to develop a Flash game, but it seriously needs some polishing. There is barely even a reason to play it.
Nice game, would love to see a speed button. At times the economics of the game seem to bog down. It would seem by the time I can reach a fully upgraded unit, the level it nearly over or at the last wave.
It's up to you whether the story was sad or not. Maybe he finally learned to let go? Maybe he joined her? You never know.
