In BTD5 you were able to set more than one sniper to hit "strong" and even when shooting at the same time, they were clever enough to aim at different bloons. Virtually releasing two lead bloons on the track took one shot to take them out. Now it appears that two snipers hit the same bloon, so both snipers have to shoot twice. Actually, there are some situations where they manage to shoot different bloons, but this is somehow not reproducible. It would be great to have intelligent snipers all the time.
