Spoiler: Red/Blue ring need to be combined with the tree mark (item) and is used at the last part of the game. There is a blue item at the downright corner of the stone table in the blue chamber, and it fits the stone table shape The book gives some hints.

The concept of the the game is great, with upgrades and achievements. But it think it could have more challenge and more objects to interact.
