Cool idea, but as other people have said, it's way too luck-driven. In particular, the buildings with windows are miserable. I think I've successfully gone through one once in about 50 encounters. So very lame.
Dammit, I got hit twice during the game. No way am I going to replay the whole thing just to try to make it through with no damage. The sixty points at worth it.
Nice game -- difficulty ramps well. Like that you get a little but more of each resource (time, lives, balls) each level. Had a blast earning the badges.
I love this game, I hate this game.
It's simply not responsive enough for such an unforgiving game. When I click on a weapon, it needs to swith IMMEDIATELY. I don't have time to click it multiple times. Same thing with launching a missile. It sucks incredibly to have to grab at the launcher three or four times to load a missile, especially when occasionally I launch something and I damage myself.
Also, I am tired of randomly blowing up in later missions.
Game is highly addicting -- have lost several hours to it over the last few days. I agree with others who have commented, though, that increasing the timer speed while increasing the number of colors makes the difficulty ramp to quickly. Also, not resetting the timer at the beginning of a new level just exacerbates the problem. I lose at pretty much the same level (second green or first purple) ever single time -- over dozens (perhaps hundreds) of games now. This shows a real ramping issue.
Great game can be made near-perfect with some ongoing tweaking. Great job!
